Where to Stay in Amed

Two quaint seaside bungalows on Amed’s black sand beaches, Melasti Beach Bungalows cannot be topped when it comes to accommodations in Amed, Bali. The B&B-homestay hybrid offers guests with stunning personal “lumbungs” (bungalows) for a private, luxurious feel while also offering home-cooked meals and wonderful staff to show and tell you all that Amed has to offer.

Guests at Melasti Beach Bungalows can enjoy complimentary breakfast every morning as well as the option to order a wide assortment of Balinese and western food from the on-site “Susi’s Kitchen.” Meals can be enjoyed in numerous areas of the property – the community picnic table in the courtyard, the private coffee table under the lumbung, the back porch or even the front porch. There are so many areas to lounge around at on the property it’s amazing.

Each of the two lumbungs boasts a front balcony overlooking Mt. Agung and a back balcony overlooking the ocean. The views from both are breathtaking. The lumbungs include a luxurious bathrooms, lofted bedrooms with air conditioning, downstairs outdoor beds and lounge areas with bean bags, chairs and a table. I was so impressed at the design of the property.

Additionally, the property includes a fire pit, complimentary snorkel gear, complimentary kayaks and motorbikes upon rental request. The family behind Melasti Beach Bungalows has every possible want and need from guests covered. I fell in love with this property the minute I saw it and ended up staying here for 16 days. This property coupled with the sleepy fishing and diving villages of Amed make for an experience second to none. If you’re interested in booking, leave me a comment below and I’ll be happy to assist!

Cheers,

Alysha
